What is a Chart Legend?

Every couple of weeks we release a Top 40 Chart, based on an artists Social Media interactions, reactions to their music from their fans and interactions with our own website and social media. 

But every now and again, a track comes along that is a bit special. Each of these tracks can already be regarded as Chart Legends but we invite you to vote for the Ultimate Chart Legend of 2020.

The five tracks below couldn't be any more different to each other but each are amazing in their own right. Please give them all a watch before making your choice at the bottom of the page.

the contenders:

camens "leave me in pieces"

Leave Me In Pieces entered our Top 40 on 26th April and hung around for a massive 20 weeks, the first song to do so, beating the previous record-holder (The Slow Day's "Home") by 6 weeks!

in earnest "come upstairs"

This amazing ballad was the first track we ever rated as 10/10. in earnest also released their stunning debut album this year and is well worth a listen.

the last of the fallen angels

"phase IV"

Having an incredible song, as well as making sure your fans see it is a sure-fire way of climbing our chart.

The Last Of The Fallen Angels track Phase IV has spent a massive 8 weeks at Number 1 - more than any other song

alex ohm "hours"

Alex Ohm's fabulous song "Hours" spent a huge 22 weeks in our Top 40 and is the only track to spend more than 20 weeks without reaching number 1.

All proceeds from this track go to mental health charity MIND

slye "waiting"

The record for the longest run on our Top 40 goes to the magnificent "Waiting" by Slye.

We were blown away by the vocals on this jazz-inspired tune, and it seems that we were not the only ones!

So there you have it - five amazing tracks, each worthy of the title "Chart Legend." But who deserves the accolade of being "Ultimate Chart Legend"? - It's up to you to decide.

You can vote once per day. please note that whilst the form will allow you to attempt multiple entries per day, our software filters the results and only one vote will be recorded.
