More new music than you can shake a stick at!

There is so much great new music landing in our inbox that we struggle to keep up sometimes! So rather than miss anything, here's a really quick run through some awesome tracks you should keep an eye out for!

1. Neverlanded - Refuge

Neverlanded, an alt-rock trio from London, will release their new single "Refuge" on the 31st of October 2019. It's a follow-up to their EP "FluffyUnicornsUnited" and continues their grungy alt-rock style.

The band, consisting of Pete Bloom (Guitars/Vocals), Alice E.B Atkinson (Bass/Vocals) and Frazer Holloway (Drums), recorded the song at Hermitage Studios with Margo Broom (Arrows of Love, Yassassin & Calva Louise) and had it mastered by Pete Maher (Pixies, Jack White & Linkin Park)

Here's a little teaser for "Refuge"

2. Afghan Sand Gang - Fast Talk

We'll be introducing you to Afghan Sand Gang soon - electro pop from Manchester. They've been around for a couple of years and released their latest single at the end of September.

They have crafted a perfect blend of lo-fi synth that oozes 80's influence, and Fast Talk comes equipped with some ethereal vocals for good measure. They're sure to become a firm favourite!

3. SWJ Group - Hipjaw

Here's a piece of funk soul music that Fatboy Slim was probably referring to in that tune most will remember. And yes, I'm still just about the correct age to remember Fatboy Slim.

The SWJ Group is a collective of musicians from Manchester playing tripped out but awesomely tuneful music. They have some pretty funky vibes going on

4. Callow Youth - Red Leather

Yeah, we're probably a bit late to the party when it comes to Manchester's Callow Youth, but we're here now, and it's better late than never, isn't it?

They've been around since 2017 and have a refreshingly upbeat sound. Red Leather marks the third release of 2019 and has shades of the dizzy, heady times of the Madchester era.

5. Drop Top Alibi - Summer Nights And City Lights

From Toronto, four piece Drop Top Alibi will hopefully not be offended when we liken them to Guns n Roses - with Axl-like vocal acrobatics, Slash-like guitar and G'n'R-like hair.

Summer Nights and City Lights is one of those tracks that brings a familiarity of classic rock bang up to date. "This song is about being blinded by the light in pursuit of your wildest dreams. Knowing that you may not succeed, that you may die, but not giving a fuck about it because it’s all you’ve ever wanted"

Some awesome music here - tell us which you prefer!
