Everyday Dogs are: Julian Inglima (Lead Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist), Jesse Inglima (Lead Guitarist/Backing Vocals), and Tyler Griffith (Bassist)

Where are you based?

Athens, GA, USA

What genre would you describe yourself as?

High-Octane Rock ‘N’ Roll

Who is your main inspiration?

Grunge music as a whole really shaped our sound as a group, so bands like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam

What is your songwriting process (which bits come first?)

Usually our songs stem from either myself [Jesse] or Julian having an idea for part of a song. This is anything from a guitar riff, to a verse/chorus combination, or some lyric ideas. The idea is then taken to the band, and as a group we’ll jam on those ideas and figure what we like and don’t like and how to transform those ideas into fully fledged songs.

What made you want to start in music?

My first introduction to music was through band class playing the saxophone in 5th grade, but I always really wanted to learn how to play the guitar, which I started doing when I was 12. From there I would practice for hours and hours every day, literally making my fingers bleed from how much I was playing. But I didn’t care because I was learning so much and enjoying every moment of it.

What is on the horizon for you?

We just released our newest single, “I Admit”, available to stream/download everywhere. We spent this last year in and out of the studio recording new material, so we’ll be releasing music progressively over the coming months as singles.

Who would you most like to collaborate with (alive or dead)?

Slash is a big inspiration for my guitar playing, so doing something with him would be amazing.

What is your ultimate goal?

Longevity and sustainability.

If you could cover any song, what would it be?

“Misery Business” by Paramore. It’s such a jam.
