natalie gauci

“Natalie Gauci is an extraordinary artist, a singer, songwriter, musician and producer with a powerful voice and an array of exquisitely wrought personal songs with huge crossover appeal.”

Natalie Gauci comes from Melbourne and her musical pedigree is second to none. She won a scholarship to Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and has studied trumpet, piano, jazz and classical voice. Her main passion though, was to sing.

And so, in 2007, Natalie auditioned for Australian Idol. And by golly, she went on to win Australian Idol.  Her debut single “Here I Am” reached Number 2 in the Australian charts. Her debut album “The Winners Journey” went platinum. But the highs of such a life changing experience were soon followed by some equally life-changing lows and Natalie went on a journey of well-documented self discovery.

In the years that followed, Natalie moved to London. She released a second album “Ha Ha Ha” in 2012 and even had a brief name change to Nellie Bell. She’s had a bunch of singles that will get your feet tapping. And now, Natalie has returned with a new album “Pictures Of Mars” – the first track being “Back To Life”, which seems to be quite a fitting title, given the roller-coaster ride thus far
