New Music: Joesix "Beauty Queen"

Hip Hop artist Joesix returns with a cracking new song, "Beauty Queen".

“This song is dedicated to all the women out there," says the 31 year old Hip Hop artist, Joesix. "It doesn't matter how old you are or what you look like. We are living in a world where everyone is being judged. Every woman out there is beautiful in their own way. I want every woman to feel good about themselves.”

Beauty Queen is a blend of funk, soul and R'n'B and has a great Summer vibe to it, topped with Joesix's rap, creating something truly special. It tells the story of the search for love but upon finding the perfect woman, believing you're not good enough for her. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, as the insecurities lead to the relationship breaking down.

Originally from the South East but currently living in the North East of England, Joesix grew up around music and cites his musical influences as diverse as Crowded House, James Brown and Michael Jackson.

"As a kid I was fascinated by the Hip Hop culture. I just love everything about it... I even like to breakdance!"

Joesix already has an impressive back catalogue and Beauty Queen is certainly a great addition to the collection.
