Basement Club are set to release their brand new single 'Late Night Feeling' through Ditto Music on 11th October across all digital platforms.
Swindon born 4 piece, Basement Club, exploded onto the indie scene in early 2018 after 2 sold out headline shows before sharing their explosive live sets with the rest of the UK. Their debut single ‘Florence’ saw the band attract the attention of BBC Introducing, This Feeling and featured in Spotify’s ‘Hot New Bands’ playlist. 65,000 streams later and the 4 piece saw interest from some of the UK’s largest festivals including Truck Festival 2019.
The recent release of ‘Talk’ has received praise from various blogs and playlists such as Gigslutz and Heard Well. Additionally ‘Talk’ featured at number 1 on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds: Six Strings’ playlist and number 9 on ‘Fresh Finds.'
"Late Night Feeling" is a sweet little tune with two faces. The verses are laid back and relaxed, just enough guitar to be heard, just enough bass to make the music pop and just enough drums to keep the rhythm of the song going. This allows the vocals to come through loud and clear and you get the sense that something is about to happen...
... and blam! There goes the chorus! Up comes the music and it's filled with some strong guitar and an effortless switch-up of the drums, rich vocal harmonies in the background fill out the tune to create a perfect, catchy chorus. You'll be glad you brought along your air guitar and air drums.
You're going to have to wait a few more days to hear Late Night Feeling but we will bring it to you as soon as it's available. In the meantime, get to know and love Basement Club by listening to "Florence" below.
