new music: the curves "lose"

Allow us to introduce you to the young alt-rock band The Curves and their rowdy new track Lose.

The Curves are a 4 piece guitar band based in Leeds who offer high energy performances of classic rock-inspired music along with reckless guitars, dirty bass and punchy drums. Inspired by Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Biffy Clyro and Royal Blood, theirs is a fresh sound filled with gritty attitude that is as infectious as it is determined.

It's easy to pick up the punk influences from the get-go, as Lose strides confidently into your space, grabs your beer and kicks sand in your face. Immediately you are introduced to a dark guitar riff and driving bass, angry drums and aggressive vocals that achieve a synergy that's fresh and exciting.

The chorus is catchy and memorable, almost anthemic, which serves to place the whole song in the category of "One To Watch."

The Curves are no strangers to performing live, having played at Wilkestock and Tringfest, as well as sold out venues such as the O2 Academy, Islington, Camden Assembly, the Horns and Lending Room.

Keep an eye out for The Curves, these guys could be on to something here!
