Pioneers are a four piece from Southampton and they're building themselves quite a reputation in their hometown. They're something of a hybrid of the sound of Arctic Monkeys, Jamie T and The Strokes with their infectious music and inspired lyrics.
The band are made up of Sam Watts (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals), Toby Gathercole (Lead Guitar), Charlie Flide (Drums) and Bailey Sandom (Bass)
Following on from their debut single, ‘Take Time’, which was crowned BBC Introducing Track of The Week, Pioneers have emerged as one of the UK’s most promising acts selling out three headline shows including the 400 capacity The Engine Rooms in Southampton and added to Amazing Radio’s daytime playlist.
New single ‘I Don’t Think I’ve Changed’ is filled with vim and vigour, it fizzes with an energetic vibe and you just know that something great is about to happen.
The tune whizzes along at a fair old pace, driven by some cracking guitar and bass work, reflecting the story told about watching our youth race by. You're carried along, expecting the song to be one of those big tunes with an anthemic chorus, and you'd be absolutely right.
I Don't Think I've Changed is available everywhere - but you can check out the video below
