So Much Music...

This month, we've been inundated with great music and we'd get banned from Facebook for spamming if we posted everything! So instead, we're going to try something new. A kind of newsletter-type thing in which we cover new releases, tour info, great videos and other news. Even in this format, we're only scratching the surface of all the great news we have to bring you so watch out for more news very soon!

New Release - Silas Burke "Janey Believe"

"Janey Believe" is the second track from the upcoming Silas Burke EP and follows on from the excellent debut single Tail Lights, which we featured back in September. It's released today, and will be followed swiftly by the EP later in February. Janey Believe tells the story of young people trying to compromise between starting their life and not abandoning their lust for adventure. It explores themes of acceptance, belief, love, and failure.

With a beautiful arrangement, the song has been taken to new heights through the work of Elliot Vaughan as producer. This track would sit perfectly in any indie folk collection. The track is influenced by the work of Wakey!Wakey!, Gavin DeGraw, and Bon Iver.

New Release: Glass Violet "Over The Moor"

Alex John and Tom Hurdiss met in Summer of 2018 and began working on material for Glass Violet for several months before recruiting Matt West (Drums), Josh Walsh (Bass) and Declan Pollard (Synth/Keys) to complete the line up.

The band take inspiration from artists such as Kasabian, The Killers and Foals, which has resulted in an anthemic sounding set of songs consisting of huge chorus's, soaring guitar riffs and melodramatic breakdowns.

"Over The Moor" a song about ends and starts and how different phases of life often pass you by without you noticing it’s happened. Its about the desire for finding a certain fire within new beginnings.

New Release: Paris Youth Foundation "Home Is Where The Heart Is"

Paris Youth Foundation have released their new single Home Is Where The Heart Is, as well as announcing their first ever UK headline tour.

It's a late night drive down memory lane, roof down and radio blaring. It's a bouncy, bright and buoyant track that is the perfect antidote to the January blues and, despite the fact the song is riddled with heartbreak, it's a heartbreak that is looked upon with a fondness. That relationship that you look back upon and it raises a smile.

February is a busy month for the band as they embark on a seven city tour. Hear more from Paris Youth Foundation on Spotify
