Hey Bulldog are a three-piece garage rock band from Manchester, England. They’re receiving plenty of mainstream radio exposure at the moment and the reviews are all pointing to the band becoming the next big thing.
The band have an impressive back catalogue, from EP “Numb”, a five-track masterpiece of grunge rock, to their new single “California” meaning that they have really set their stall out as a force to be reckoned with. “California,” released in June, has some punchy vocals, their signature sounding mean guitar riffs, driven along by an energetic bass and hyperactive drumming. It does seem something of a different direction, whilst maintaining that Hey Bulldog sound.
They've supported Moon Duo, Syd Arthur, The Liminanas, Joel Gion (BJM), King Tuff, The Lucid Dream, 10,000 Russos, Spindrift, The Schizophonics and Sextile and in July 2019 they are on the same billing as Scouting For Girls and The Pigeon Detectives.
Already, the band have caught the attention of Steve Lamacq, BBC6 Music, Radio X, Mojo Magazines Phil Alexander, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio.
